Sheena Johnson (née McMillan) has been serving her local community in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as the owner and director of Above and Beyond Academy since 2018. With a Masters in Early Childhood Education and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, she operates her center with a special focus on social and emotional learning, to ensure the complete development of the children in her care. Mrs. Johnson worked for 8 years as a teacher and subsequently as an Educational Director, prior to opening her own business.
As a result of her applied experience and successful approach, designed to support the growth of children mentally, emotionally and academically, Mrs. Johnsons consistently has a waitlist of parents seeking to enroll their children in her academy. She believes that it is crucial for children of all ages to learn how to identify and manage their emotions in healthy ways, using appropriate outlets for expression. She has volunteered to make herself available to anyone engaged in Early Childhood Education; including teachers, parents, daycare owners/operators, directors and staff etc., in order to provide resources / information and training in early childhood social and emotional development.

Kerlisha Mason-Broomes is an ordained minister (Deaconess) currently serving as the Executive Administrator at the Ramah Christian Center, while also working as an Adjunct Professor at Mercy University in New York. She earned her Bachelors and Master's degree in Psychology from Mercy University, and is now pursuing her Doctorate within the field. As a Grenadian-American who spent her formative years, through to secondary school, in Grenada, she is very familiar with the nuances and socio-cultural norms and experiences that are specific to small island life. She has a passion for giving back and reaching others with her testimony of how faith and education have helped her to overcome personal struggles and build the life she has today.
Mrs. Mason-Broomes holds a certificate in Conflict Resolution and functions as a co-mediator for the Institute for Mediation and Conflict Resolution. She also serves as a Grief Coach for a community-based mentorship program in Bronx, NY, working specifically with adolescent girls. As a Grief Coach, she works with these young women to support them through various experiences of loss; from the death of a friend or loved one, to the loss of a relationship, among others. Her goal is to help them learn how to process their emotions in a healthy way, by walking them through the stages of grief so they don’t get stuck mentally and emotionally, and can come out stronger on the other side of it all. She is looking forward to the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with parents, educators, counsellors, clergy members, and anyone who wants to be better equipped to support others mentally and emotionally in their respective roles.

Dr. Antoinette Baptiste is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate and a Professional School Counselor.
She is also certified in Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents. She is a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) trainer and AS+K basic gatekeeper trainer (Suicide Awareness and Prevention).
She holds a Doctorate in Executive Leadership in Mental Health and Human Service and a Bachelor's in Political Science. She is also a certified teacher in Special Education, English as a second language, and English Language Arts.
Dr. Baptiste works as a Mental Health Therapist in schools and as an Independent Contractor with clients in Intensive Outpatient Care. She owns Affirm Resonate Autonomy PLLC, a company whose mission is to provide counseling and psychoeducation training on mental health. Her goal is to provide education and a safe space for persons in Grenada needing information and help with mental disorders. Her theoretical orientation is Existentialism. She is skilled in areas of CBT, SFT, and Grief Therapy and competent in helping clients dealing with grief, trauma, Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, suicidal ideations, anxiety, depression, and various mood disorders.
